I have been a less frequent aka bad blogger of late. When I have spare time lately, the last thing I feel like doing is thinking or typing or staring at a computer - the perils of running an online store I guess?!

 

Anyways, I do enjoy blogging and I will try to behave more blogger like, starting with a randomness post..

 

 

Last night I caught up with my girl Priscilla, for a girly gossip catchup chat. I love our chats like this and we hadn't done one in a while, so 3 hours, food and coffee was needed!

 

I felt so refreshed and cleansed when I went home haha.

Dat Girl is featured on Scoopon at the moment, it is exciting to see my baby out there and see people respond to it - it is also really nerve racking!

 

 

A returned to Sydney for goof last week - YAAAHHOOOOOO!!!

Before we moved in together, we use to have a date night tradition of doing something, anything together every Tuesday night. We kind of forgot about this when we moved in together, but now we have started the tradition again.

 

 

We went to La Cita at Cockle Bay Wharf for tapas platters. The top platter was my favourite, the bread was warm, the meatballs were soft and the Chorizo, ohhhh the Chorizo!

 

 

 

We had a family lunch on Sunday and I wore a Dat Girl blazer, pretty petals. I am now obsessed with this blazer, I have worn it a few times and keep getting compliments, now I just need the man parts to tell people where to get it from :P 

 

 

My niece couldn't stop looking at herself in the camera on my new iPhone 5. She is such a cutey, I spun out when I said hello to someone and out of her little mouth came "HELLOO" - I had never heard her talk before!

 

She has also started crawling in recent times, so it's been a big month for her. Must be tough!

 

 

One of my friend's puppies.. I dare you to say he is not cute? C'mon..I double dare you!

 

I love the attitude he has, I can't help but give him like a Mugley (is that the cartoon dog's name?) accent.

 

 

We are spoilt for sunsets from our balcony- SPOILT!!!

 

 

We had another Dat Girl photo shoot a few weeks ago, I am so excited to show everyone the new summer looks!

 

Why do I keep putting myself in photos with models? why? not my smartest move haha.

 

 

 

This is a new trick I taught myself on the pole when I was under the influence... I'm actually only holding on with one leg. I was very proud of myself.

 

We have our pole performance tonight and for the first time both my mum and A are coming to watch me... eeeep I hope I don't forget everything and look like a clutz! hahaha

Yet another Random Post

I had another messy Friday night at the Ivy change rooms, damn I love that place and it's mix of old and new tunes.. Anyways, in true "too busy consuming vodka" style I forgot to take any photos, except this selfie before we left...

At the end of the night I couldn't stop giggling, as I tried to convince A to get to bed and he constantly just called for help. Pulling a man around the floor by his arm is not an easy task...hahaha.

Bobbi came to visit a few weekends ago, look how big she is now!!

 How cute is our little niece Deanna? We cuddled her lots at a family lunch a few weekends ago.

Not sure if I ever showed you guys the Dat Girl bags that arrived? I couldn't be happier with them!

New brushes arrived last week, I don't know what half of them are for... luckily they have names on the back! hahaha

My flatmate got a new camera and he loves playing with it.

We get to see the most amazing sunsets from our rooftop!!

I told my brother he should make them and sell them, it looks so crazy.

Counting down to some pretty exciting stuff... the wedding is still a while away, but the DAT GIRL PHOTO SHOOT is this weekend! arggghhhhhh!

Bits & Pieces

 This weekend was pretty quiet. Well actually I had a lot on and felt like I was running around like a mad woman, but there was no partying involved so to me that constitutes a quiet weekend.

Friday night we spent watching espisodes of the American Voice, Saturday I went to dance class and wedding dress shopping (post to come) and then on Sunday I went to lunch with some of my girls at Bitton in Alexandria.

The lunch was suppper yummy, but I was too buys gossipping to remember to take any photos - sorry, you will just have to take my word for it, and if you get the chance, go to bitton! It is a french restaurant owned by David Bitton, who personally greeted us and commented on our beauty (*blush*) like a true french man. My friend Jamila goes there a lot, so we were even given complimentary creme brulee. It was to die for!! I must also mention here how affordable the cafe is - the most expensive lunch item was $24 and if I remember correctly that was seafood. Definitely (I always have trouble spelling that word, who knows why? Definitely not me!hahaha) go and check it out!!

Okay on to my random pictures and ramblings.... 

I went to Ettamogah Pub for my friends birthday last Tuesday. The have 15 different types of Schnitzel.. yes 15!!! This one had bacon, avocado, cheese and hollandaise sauce MnmmNm. The next one I have my eye on has WEDGES ON TOP OF IT!!!

Last Friday at Court the media was going crazy.

 It is hard to see but they were interviewing someone out the front.

 YEY!!! My baby is back on my finger, all clean and looking brand new!

 A's birthday is on Thursday - not sure how I am going to top him, but I will spoil him rotten trying!
