Life through my iPhone 5

I have been slack I admit this, between writing huge Government job applications, marketing Dat Girl, Christmas shopping, trying to socialise and clean and not put on too much weight and book things for the wedding and fulfil Dat Girl orders and do pole dancing and see my family and ARRAGGHHHHHHH yep all got a lot too much! hahaha.

It's funny, I get so tired sometimes and wish I wasn't that busy, but on the other hand I freakin' love being busy, and get bored after even one weekend at home..

The easiest way to catch up I think is through my iPhone 5, let's take a trip shall we? :P

Remember Oliver? He has gotten bigger now, but the poor little guy was really sick last week. Mum came home from work to find blood everywhere and ran him to the Vet. They thought he had Pavo (aka the puppy killing disease), luckily he didn't, but he was on a drip at the Vets for an entire week. The Vet still has no idea what it was, but if mum hadn't of rushed him there he wouldn't have survived!

How cute is he trying to reach over the fence like Bobbi?

Don't know when I wore this, but I must have liked the red lip, leopard print look.. pity about my cone head!

When my girls and I catch up, we get a whole board of pizza! Bondi pizza offers three of them like this now, it's cheaper and looks awesome so it's a winner in my books.

Headed out recently for drinks and dancing. Wore this Twiggy leather skirt from Dat Girl of course, with this backless ASOS leotard. It was a fun night out, I am not a home body all the time, that's for sure - this girl needs to boogy sometimes!

Pole dancing ended last week. I have officially been a pole dancer for a year now and I freaking loveeeee it! I would recommend it to anyone and I can really see and feel my muscles improving.

Speaking of which, does anyone else find it funny the bad rep pole dancing has?

Sure, in the past pole dancing went with stripping, but I personally think it's great that women have turned around something that was suppose to be "for men's enjoyment" and found a way to make it empowering for them, to help then become strong and fit!

A and my mum have both come to watch at my pole studio and both agree there is nothing sexual about it.. the things these ladies can achieve are amazing, they put the beefed up boys at the gym doing chin ups to shame, shame I tells ya!

Our first Christmas tree, all silver and pretty.

We went to Ivy Pool on Sunday and what a fun day it was!! Unfortunately, Ivy pool on a Sunday leads to feeling sorry for yourself on a Monday hahaha.

I'm wearing the Mayhem dress from Dat Girl.

My niece graduated from Preschool this week, how cute is this?! Cue awkies smile, when she just wants to be running around playing hehe.

What's everyone doing for the holidays?

Puppy Love

Do you remember earlier this year, meeting my mum's little puppy Bobby? If not, you can meet her here.

Well she is no longer so little and mum was wanted to get her a friend for some time now.

After my brother bought a Lorakeet on the weekend, Bobby cannot stop staring at it, she is just dying to play with. Seeing this, mum bit the bullet and started looking for a pup. Of course, I insisted I go with her to see the pup she chose and approve of his cuteness.

And cute he is!!

He is half labrador, half border collie.

My mum tried everywhere for another Dalmadore, but no such luck.

We named him Oliver, Oli for short :)

Dirty from playing in the mud.

I love his green eyes and wish I still lived with mum so I could play with him allllllll the time!!!

Bobby loves him too!

Unfortunately, she doesn't realise he is only the size of her head and trys to pounce around and play with him, to which he cries and runs away to hide.

She won't let him sleep either, she is too excited and apparently didn't care that it was 3am, that was play time!

Awww is there anyone that doesn't love puppies?

Yet another Random Post

I had another messy Friday night at the Ivy change rooms, damn I love that place and it's mix of old and new tunes.. Anyways, in true "too busy consuming vodka" style I forgot to take any photos, except this selfie before we left...

Natural hair.

At the end of the night I couldn't stop giggling, as I tried to convince A to get to bed and he constantly just called for help. Pulling a man around the floor by his arm is not an easy task...hahaha.

Bobbi came to visit a few weekends ago, look how big she is now!!

How cute is our little niece Deanna? We cuddled her lots at a family lunch a few weekends ago.

You can't resist grabbing those cheeks!

Not sure if I ever showed you guys the Dat Girl bags that arrived? I couldn't be happier with them!

New brushes arrived last week, I don't know what half of them are for... luckily they have names on the back! hahaha

My flatmate got a new camera and he loves playing with it.

We get to see the most amazing sunsets from our rooftop!!

A sketch of Bobbi someone drew as a present to my mum

Bobbi's new house, built by my brother and decorated by my mother.
Can you believe this thing? I think they have lost the plot! lol she has an attic and all coats!! Next comes the chandelier... lol

I told my brother he should make them and sell them, it looks so crazy.
Unfortunately, at the moment Bobbi only goes in if my brother goes in first. Hmmm fail? haha.

Counting down to some pretty exciting stuff... the wedding is still a while away, but the DAT GIRL PHOTO SHOOT is this weekend! arggghhhhhh!

Cross your fingers for perfect weather x

Weigh in and Weekend

I am on my way to work smiling and feeling like a million bucks today... It was a good weigh in this morning...

I lost one whole kilo this week!! So much for being in the 67's... I flew past them and went straight into the 66's!

Boooyahhh that's now a total of 3.4kgs down and 4.8%.

The other nights meatballs.. mmm

How did the other 12wbters go??

This past weekend was the second weekend in a row when I was sober (and by sober I mean just not being totally wasted or partying), it's amazing how much things I get done when I'm not hungover!! Lol It made me start to imagine all the things I could achieve if I wasn't a lover of booze......

On Friday night my girl Priscilla came over for fish, pilates and movies.

I wish I took a picture of the fish, but in true fashion I forgot so you have to trust me. At Woolworths now you can get your seafood marinated. Basically you pick your seafood or fish, then your sauce (I chose lime and chili) and then they put it in an oven bag for you. You follow the instructions on the bag, open it up when it's ready and have deliciously cooked fish!! And it's FREE!!! If you haven't tried it yet, I suggest you do!

After our Fish I told Priscilla I had a special dessert for her and I surprised her with this....

She was not expecting it and as you can tell from the photo she was super excited! I think one of the first things she said was "what if you hate me in a year?" lol. Not gonna happen.

She left the cake on her lap for about an hour after that, as we talked all things weddings.

On Saturday, I took Priscilla and one of my other BM's Alana to see my dream dress. Both girls loved it, Alana even got a bit emotional. Dress is confirmed, deposit is paid! :)

Saturday night I went out with some friends for Tapas in Bondi. Again no food pics, but it was delicious....

Devil eyes strike again!

But I did manage to take a couple of outfit pics for you...

ignore my face

Do you like my new Kookai faux fur vest? I loooveee it!

Thigh high boots.

and a selfie, where I look orange :)

Sunday was the best kind of day... A stay in your trackies close to the couch kind of day. I cleaned, I cooked, did washing and uploaded some pics of Dat Girl Clothing. I even squeezed in a glass of moscato - see what I mean about achievement levels when I'm not hungover? Haha.

This weekend we are having a weekend away with another couple, before A leaves for Melbourne on Monday. *sigh* I don't think it has sunk in that he is going to be gone yet... Give me a few nights in bed alone and I'll be whining!

What's your plans for this weekend?

Photo of Bobby my mum sent me.

My mum is working from home.. this is bobby's reaction lol.

My Easter

My Easter long weekend was great, but like many times, I forgot to take photos of  a lot of it to share with you guys. (Doup!) I am trying to get better I swear :P

Thursday night, we went to my roomie's birthday at Bungalow 8 for a few too many drinks and a late night BBQ sausage. It was a fun night with our close friends, which started and ended nice and early (and intoxicated).

Good Friday was the day we had the first party at our new apartment- our House Warming.

I woke up early to do the final cleaning and food prep for the BBQ. We bought waaayy too much for the BBQ, I thought that at the time of buying it and cooking it and now when I look at all the left overs in our fridge, but I guess it is better to have too much then not enough right?

I made a baked potato bar with lots of yummy topping options like chives, pineapple, tomatoes, cheese, sour cream with sweet chili and corn. I thought the potatoes were delicious. Unfortunately, only myself and my bestie tried them, while everyone else chomped on the Nam Noung (i'm not sure if I have spelt that right, but basically it is the most delicious marinated pork kebab/sausage sort of thing).

Despite my potatoes going uneaten, it was a GREAT party! We spent the day in the sun, down by the pool, eating nibbles and hunting for Easter eggs. When the sun went down we moved everything and everyone upstairs for some jello shots and some moves on my pole. The pole got a MASSIVE workout by the way. We couldn't have asked for the party to go any better, but I did wish I had a maid the next morning when I saw the state our place was left in :(

Luckily, I didn't have to stay in our messy apartment, as I made an early morning getaway to my mum's house for another BBQ and a day of betting on the Golden Slipper. It was fun hanging out with my mum, brother and dog Bobby, but it would have been even more fun if my horses decided to win! :P

Sunday was our lazy day spent watching countless movies and being looked after by A and my roommate, as I nursed a sore belly.

On Monday, I was back in action and off to the Sydney Royal Easter Show. I like the show and I always have fun, but I don't love it anywhere near as much as A does!! He lights up like a little kid and went to the show armed  with a "show bag shortlist" and all. It did turn out to be a great day, but damn was I tired by the end of it. I passed out at like 9.30pm and I am still tired today!!

Plus side is, I remembered to take photos...

me and my little brothers

My boys

How cool is his Afro?? hahaha

A & roomie with the Goats

Bobby

Introducing..... BOBBY!!!

Bobby or any dog could in no way replace George or Georgina, but my mum simply couldn't handle the silence in the house anymore. Bobby is in no way similar to George or Georgina, but will always be told about the big shoes she has to fill.

She is half Dalmatian, half Labrador, they call her a dalmadore :)

I love the random spots on her chest.
