Shooty - Wedding Stuff

On Sunday on "our way back" from The Entrance, I made A go with me'to a bridal expo at the Sebel Resort and Spa Hawkesbury . Okay.. when I made this decision I clearly had no idea how far the Hawkesbury is from anywhere!! We just kept driving and driving and driving....

When we finally got to the expo, we were greeted with a very pretty set up for a civil ceremony.

We then made our way through the many rooms, pointing out little things, collecting freebies and munching on canapes until we made it to the whole reason we went there.....

I love coloured lighting in rooms..

I originally saw the Shooty wall about this time last year at an expo and I knew I wanted it, but it was too early to make any decisions then and A hadn't seen it.

Unfortunately the Shooty people don't have a studio and the only way to see it is at expos or other people's weddings I guess?

Fast forward to Sunday when they were finally at an event we could go to. When I originally saw the packages on the table I was shocked at the price increase since the first time I saw them (a good $400-500) and A wasn't sure about the wall because of it (damn men and their logical thinking lol).

Luckily after Patricia from Shooty came to talk to us and realised I was the crazy bride emailing her for a year, she offered to give us the wall at the price from a year ago.... SOLD!!

The photo above is of the smaller wall and basically you can go infront or behind the wall. If your behind the wall you can poke your head through and it looks like you're a painting or a picture.

hehehe love the girl with the heart

I love the wall because it's a nice twist on the traditional photo booth, it can fit up to 20 people in one shot and we can put our own photos in the little frames on the wall. I already know some of the photos will include one of my brother, pets passed, parents' weddings etc. I think it iss a great way to include people who can't enjoy the day with us..

Now I want to get creative with some props that are just our own... A has already put in his request for light sabers lol

Do you have any ideas for props??

Ohh, I received these little guys in the mail yesterday too - wedding activity kits for the lil ones at our wedding. Closer to the date, I'll dress them up in an organza bag or something to make them look a lot nicer, but I think it's a good way to keep the rugrats from being rugrats for a while lol.

P.S. Stay tuned to this blog for a GIVEAWAY this week!!!

    2. I did think of this Miss Directions and it was also suggested by a friend, howeverrr Shooty provides a few things we couldn't make - two LCD screens (one to see how your photo is looking and one to see the photo taken for people in the line), an Ipad to scroll through the photos on the night if you want to, instant prints for all guests and what we love best is the photos are taken via a remote control, which can be pressed by a person in the photo (behind the wall) or shooty assistant.

I think making your own would be great if you had a person with a camera there standing taking photos though.

  13. Νext tіme I read a blоg, Hopеfully іt ԁoesn't fail me as much as this one. I mean, Yes, it was my choice to read, but I actually thought you would have something interesting to talk about. All I hear is a bunch of complaining about something you could fix if you were not too busy seeking attention.
